Diapers By Design is proudly Canadian! We are located in Maple Ridge, BC. I started making diaper cakes for friends who were having children. Being a mom myself, I wanted to give gifts that were useful, creative, and practical, but still attractive and fun to open. I was looking for a way to give the gift every mom, new or not needs.... the gift of diapers!

Our Business Philosophy

As each child is unique and individual, so are our diaper cakes. They are not mass produced. Each one is created as ordered. As each cake is "baked" to individual requests, every cake is unique and may not be exactly as pictured.

Although the cakes pictured throughout our website are made with premium DSQ organic unbleached cotton diapers, each one can also be made with disposable diapers. Please contact us for prices.

We understand that customer service is the backbone of every business, ours included. If your experience with our products or our website hasn't met your expectations, please contact us and we will try to make it better.

Our Company

I started this business after a number of my friends began having their 2nd and 3rd children. I wanted to give them something that was tasteful and practical, but wasn't really interested in wrapping a package of diapers. So I decided to create something with the diapers.

As a mother of two growing boys I saw a need for beautiful shower gifts that were creative, useful, and environmentally conscious. That is one of the reasons I chose to use Bummis organic, unbleached cotton prefolds. The other reason is because I believe in them. I have personal experience with their cotton prefolds and their super whisper wraps. We used them with our 2 boys, and don't have a single complaint!

Our bakery is located in beautiful Maple Ridge. We have a smoke free environment, that is both child and pet friendly!
